Which Bible translation does Guided Prayer use?
The King James Version by default, with a one-tap switch to the World English Bible. Every one of the app's 260 verses across 26 topics is available in both, so switching translations changes the whole library, not just some verses.
The two translations
- KJV (King James Version) — the classic. If "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" is how scripture sounds in your memory, this is your setting.
- WEB (World English Bible) — a modern-English translation. Same verses, contemporary wording, ideal if the KJV's older English gets between you and the meaning.
How to switch
Open Settings in the app and choose your Bible version. The change applies everywhere — topics, guided prayers, journeys, and the daily verse on your widgets.
What about Spanish?
When the app runs in Spanish, every verse is presented in Spanish scripture, and journeys, check-ins, and reminders are fully translated — see Guided Prayer in Spanish.
